Now this is a very cute teen romance manga. Soichiro gets to be active in this volume.

The last half of the manga is from his perspective and I feel that he really adding some good humor to the story. Yukino is funny but she is more serious about Soichiro. Soichiro is serious about her but he mostly just does not get what is going on in her head.

Because she is so different from him, that is what draws him to her. Yukino is too busy thinking about hot he is.

Attack On Titan Ost 2

They have the sweetest kiss in this volume. But drama is ahead and I am looking for to it. I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money. 'I just realized for the first time that the girl next to me always stands tall and keeps her eyes focused straight ahead.

She makes all her own decisions, and her own choices. She's a person who lives in her own way.'

I own and read the first four volumes of this six or seven years ago, but I haven't picked it up since. I find this to be a fairly realistic depiction of highschool life without romanticizing it, and I find it interesting how the characters explore their strengths and weaknesses. I find this to be a fairly realistic depiction of highschool life without romanticizing it, and I find it interesting how the characters explore their strengths and weaknesses. A unique plot point is that Yukino and Soichiro are the top students that are learning that although school is important, there is more to life than it, like friendship and happiness. I don't see this perspective in manga very often.

I also like that the manga shows that it is hard work and long hours that got them to the top of the class, not just intelligence and innately knowing the answers or doing schoolwork perfectly. I find this series a tad repetitive while not adding as much as other series do when they go over similar feelings or situations (like Fruits Basket). Then there will be a sudden spurt of newness and unexpected reactions that enliven to series for me. I can see how this is the mangaka's first series as she's still getting her stride as to pacing between the new plot and recapping.

Still I enjoy it in spite of it's slow moments.Mild Spoilers. This volume did have great moments!

This volume did have great moments! Yukino and Soichiro commit to one another.

And we meet Hideaki who is a thorn between our young couple! I love their differing POVs about being first: she wants adoration and he to impress his foster parents that he's not a bad seed like his parents. BOTTOM LINE: Good but slow. Yukino and Soichiro are so busy with school activities that they have very little time to spend together until things slow down. By then Soichiro's made a new friend, Hideaki, who wants Soichiro all to himself. He becomes Yukino's archenemy once he expresses disbelief that Soichiro could see anything worthwhile about Yukino.

She misses him and they haven't even been on an actual date. So not much happens. The parts with Hideaki and Yukino are amusing, but don't last all that long, so it's basically just a lot of pining around on Yukino's part. Aahhh to be young and in love. What I noticed is that is very much a teenager/young adult kind of manga. The intensity of your feelings at that age is also very much present in this manga.

I realized I was reading a translation but that doesn't diminish the message. Which is very positive for everybody but especially about love. And how to be a good partner to somebody.

I say that's the message but it goes without saying that's what I take away. I totally adore this manga. And can't recommend it e Aahhh to be young and in love.
